Product Manager II

Role Overview

As a Product Manager II you have a passion for solving customer problems through technology. The Product Manager II is responsible for partnering with various stakeholders to translate business priorities into actionable roadmaps and product deliverables. Through product roadmaps, user personas, and user scenarios, you will help to influence the product strategy and strengthen existing products.You must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, strong relationship building, ability to think strategically and analytically, and a passion for working with technology.

Role Responsibilities

Product Management

• Single point of accountability for the production health of your assigned platform(s) (maintaining stability, security, performance, etc.)
• Applies creativity, innovation, influence, collaboration, and leadership to manage stakeholders across all levels of the organization
• Manage and drive execution within the product lifecycle
• Lead complex/critical projects by fostering a team mentality, providing clear stakeholder communication, and maintaining team focus to ensure the most favorable outcomes
• Synthesize requirements, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs relative to technical constraints
• Applies process and methodology to appropriately manage stakeholder intake and prioritization
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to design, and prototype enhancements within your assigned areas
• Develops deep subject-matter expertise and proven ability to quickly and valuably deliver on a new product challenge.
• Track and drive timely resolution of open issues.
• Recommend new processes, workarounds, and flow changes to ensure constant improvement and evolution of the platform.

Product Delivery

• Ownership of key stages within the product delivery process: Solution design, scoping, implementation, adoption and validation.
• Leads release planning and release communications for assigned areas
• Define KPIs and strategic initiatives for the platform team, overseeing timely releases
• Writes detailed, complete user stories and requirements
• Collaborate closely with internal architecture and engineering teams, third-party technology partners, additional product teams, and other cross functional stakeholders
• Monitor the status of development projects supporting new features
• Ability to motivate and partner with developers to optimize the platform for ease of use
• Experience leading and driving technical discussions with developers, architects and stakeholders

Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• Experience is required within the Product Owner, Product Management, or Business Analyst roles
• Azure Dev-ops (TFS), Jira, Rally, or similar planning & development tool
• Proven experience delivering web and customer service driven products that improve the customer experience
• Worked within Agile development methodologies

Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with 2 to 4 years prior relevant experience
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, or finance experience preferred
• B2B and/or FinTech experience
• Wireframing, prototyping, and user testing experience
