Product Manager II, YouTube Shorts Recommendations

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of experience in consumer product management or related technical role.
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• 2 years of experience working with recommender systems, or Machine Learning (ML) based products.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
  
• 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
• 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
• 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
• Experience working in creator ecosystems.
• Experience in Machine Learning (ML) or AI, specifically within recommended systems.

In this role you will focus on improving Shorts feed recommendations. We seek to provide people with a safe, entertaining, and informative feed of videos that they can find value in. We also aim to inspire people to create Shorts through feed recommendations, making it easy to go from watching to creating.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
