Product Marketing Manager
Job Summary
Reporting to the Vice-President of Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager will create and defend advertiser value by informing the business of opportunities, aligning product value with client expectations and enabling our sales team to succeed. This person will be responsible for serving as the voice of our customer, leading all go-to-market activities as well as sales enablement.
Responsibilities:
Uncover needs/voice of the customer
- Participate as an integral member of the product portfolio team
- Understand industry and competitive landscape and educate sales and the broader L2T Media organization
- Write marketing requirements and provide field and product insights to Product Management based on needs, customer use cases and competitive insights
- Serve as product expert on client sales calls, corporate customer meetings and internal sales meetings
- Drive consumer and customer market research needs
Manage go-to-market
- Lead cross functional team meetings from pilot through launch and beyond
- Develop product messaging
- Create/manage sales and customer tools (POS materials, insights, case studies, pitch documents, videos etc.)
- Communicate commercial product details
- Train the sales force
Ensure post launch success
- Develop subject matter expertise to serve as the voice of the product to customers, media and via industry speaking opportunities
- Partner with Product team to track revenue, product challenges/opportunities & customer engagement
- Educate sales on competitive landscape to ensure product success post launch
- Develop win loss analysis for each product portfolio
- Track revenue and other product metrics and KPI’s and report out to the organization
Sales Enablement
- Coordinate w/ sales leadership and management to define sales support initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
- Partner with Content Manager to develop impactful tools to educate sales team and advance deals such as case studies, competitive information, fact sheets, product collateral etc.
- Own sales presentation material to ensure the story we want to be told is consistent throughout the sales organization.
- Field ad hoc content and support requests from sales team.
- Assist on sales calls and demos as needed.
- Select and manage the sales enablement content repository and ensure that all information is easily and readily accessible at point of need with easy integration into SF.com.
- Determine content adoption metrics and define sales enablement best practices.
- Gather feedback from sales team on a regular basis to constantly improve support programs
- Partner with sales leaders to develop and enhance the sale process and ensuring that content matches the needs of the sales cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, journalism or similar required.
- 7 years of experience in Product Marketing.
- Keen understanding of digital marketing solutions including SEM, SEO, Social Media and Reputation Management
- B2B experience required.
- Automotive experience desired.
- Google AdWords certification a plus.
- Strong writing, editing, proofing, presentation skills, project management, strategic planning and problem-solving skills desired
- Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Candidate must be organized, dependable, enthusiastic, results-oriented and innovative. Takes initiative and gets results. Believes in flawless execution.

This is a hybrid role.
