Your Role and Responsibilities

Product Marketing Manager at IBM is at the intersection of product management marketing sales and business partners. You will be responsible for articulating IBM’s point of view and value proposition for IBM MaaS360® product marketing with the right buyers and influencers measured by revenue retention rates market segment share and analyst ranking. IBM MaaS360® provides an end-to-end UEM solution that automates digital transformation and aligns endpoint management for IBM clients. As the MaaS360 Product Marketer you will:

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Partner with the MaaS360 product management team to develop and execute a cohesive product marketing strategy
  • Define and communicate the value proposition of the product and how it fits into the broader platform ecosystem
  • Partner with Brand and Communications teams to translate product-centric value propositions into corporate and segment-based messaging.
  • You will own product introductions end to end:
  • Lead strategic planning and execution of product launches and/or product-focused events in a way that maximizes market impact and adoption
  • Collaborate closely with the Product team and Sales leadership to deeply understand new features and updates translating technical details into compelling marketing messages
  • Analyze launch performance to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Own the relationship with GTM leadership teams to ensure all go-to-market teams can confidently sell and support our product
  • You will support and influence the PLG initiatives across core product lines by:
  • Developing the GTM strategy including ideal customer profiles personas buyer journey messaging & positioning use cases and launch strategy
  • Overseeing full-funnel marketing initiatives from awareness to acquisition
  • Working closely with demand generation campaigns brand and ecosystem marketing teams on initiatives and assets to drive revenue and adoption


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years of B2B security or technology product marketing experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions and measure performance
  • Self-starter comfortable leading with or without explicit authority
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a strong storyteller
  • Proven experience working in a highly matrixed global organization
  • Able to make difficult prioritization decisions with multiple conflicting inputs
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong leadership skills with a history of leading high-performing product marketing teams
  • Experience with eCommerce product marketing
