Job Summary (Primary Function)
The Product Strategist will play a vital role in supporting key commercial deliverables for Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) engagement strategies and Health Care Professional (HCP) to Patient initiatives. This dynamic role involves the creation and refinement of impactful educational materials for consumers, contributing directly to patient understanding and brand objectives. The intern will gain hands-on experience by collaborating extensively with a diverse range of internal and external partners, including Oncology Clinical Nurse Educators (OCNEs), Market Insights teams, the Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) review team, and external creative agencies.
Essential Functions of the Job (Key Responsibilities)
• Strategic Marketing Development & Execution:Contribute to the development and implementation of integrated personal and non-personal marketing strategies targeting consumers, with a clear focus on achieving business objectives and sales targets.
• Promotional Material Management & Compliance:Manage the lifecycle of marketing materials through the MLR review process, ensuring meticulous alignment with regulatory standards and seamless integration across various communication channels.
• Patient-Centric Content Creation:Develop engaging and informative promotional and educational materials specifically designed for patients, enhancing their understanding of Jakafi and relevant therapeutic information.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Relationship Building:Cultivate and maintain strong collaborative relationships with the Product Strategy HCP team, Digital Operations, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, and other key internal functional areas to ensure cohesive and aligned efforts.
• Therapeutic Area Expertise:Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the relevant therapeutic area, including disease state, treatment landscape, and competitive dynamics.
• Knowledge Sharing & Best Practices:Actively participate in the seamless sharing of information, best practices, and lessons learned across the commercial organization to foster continuous improvement.
• Budget Management Support:Assist in the preparation and ongoing maintenance of project budgets, ensuring responsible fiscal management.
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
• Academic Background:Bachelor's or Master's degree program, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Dynamic & Adaptable:Demonstrates high energy, creativity, and a proven aptitude for effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative & Communicative:Possesses strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including confident presentation skills.
• Content Development Acumen:Exhibits strong foundational skills required to contribute to the development of compelling and accurate content for diverse audiences.
• Analytical & Strategic Thinker:Displays an ability to think critically, analyze information, and contribute to strategic discussions.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
