Production Associate

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Dry Ice Operator Location: Long Beach, CA Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a dependable Dry Ice Plant Operator to join our team at our production facility. As a valuable member of our team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, shipping and receiving, and maintaining plant equipment. What we offer you! • Competitive pay • Comprehensive benefit plan (medical, dental, vision and more) • 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan • Paid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO) • Employee Discount Programs • Career growth opportunities • Pay range: $23.00- $27.00 hourly (commensurate with experience) What you will be doing (1st & 2nd Shifts): • Safely operates forklift or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage, and transport product • Ability to problem solve and resolve issues promptly with a mechanical aptitude • Able to lift, rotate, and lower 60 lbs. consistently throughout the workday • Interact professionally with shipping companies, customers, safety, customer service, and branch management • Communicate effectively and ability to act with a sense of urgency when necessary • Follows Linde safety procedures and encourages others to do the same • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision • You will maintain a clean work environment by keeping the area organized • Other duties as assigned What makes you great: • High school diploma or G.E.D required • 3+ years of general manufacturing or warehousing experience • Ability to operate a forklift • Basic computer knowledge • Ability to work a flexible work schedule to meet business demands • Upholds high standards of honesty and integrity • Demonstrates personal ownership for safety and actively contributes to a strong safety culture • Contributes to a positive work environment where differences are valued and supported • Strives for personal achievement and helps others attain results • Ensures accountability through collaboration and interpersonal skills Why you will enjoy working with us: Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2023 sales of $33 billion.
