Production Designer

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Contribute assist or create and deliver custom assets to a high level of functional and aesthetic quality.
• Command of IBM brand’s vision systems and documentation.
• Ensure all artwork and final mechanicals are accurate error-free adhere to brand standards meet and exceed timeline and deliverable requirements and follow all specifications.
• Identify assess and mitigate technical risk as well as quickly and accurately identify and resolve unexpected issues that can occur during the production process.
• Maintain excellent file organization and follow established processes for asset creation and management and output configuration.
• Collaboration with others – stakeholders technical teams partners and other designers.
• Effectively communicate ideas and detailed rationale both verbally and visually.
• Maintain and research knowledge of relevant technologies.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3-5+ years of relevant experience in a digital and print production position.
• Attention to detail and performing in a fast-paced team-oriented environment with strong organizational skills and time management.
• Effectively using style sheets master pages templates tracking kerning and leading functionalities.
• Retouching digital file preparation 4c print and production processes and pre-press delivery formats.
• Producing final assets comps and assisting with presentation preparations.
• Actively seeking feedback and review of work; accept and act upon creative/technical direction.
• Take direction well and be nimble to extend designs across platforms.
• Being passionate confident empathetic positive approachable.

• Applications: Adobe Creative Suite (highly proficient) Figma MS Office (.PPT) Github
• Web standards a plus
