I. Job Summary
Responsible for executing and managing the production process for magazine issues as assigned. This will include gathering files in Woodwing Assets, uploading to WoodWing Studio, delivering files to the Content Center, and proofing pages through Dalim ES. Additionally, this position will support needs of the design staff, including but not limited to, photo scheduling, contracting, uploading or downloading files, image searches and asset management.
II. Essential Job Functions
Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results
90% Manage and execute all phases of production for issues as assigned.
10% Assist Design team with image searches, asset management, photo contracts, and scheduling.
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
B.A. degree in graphic design or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
4-5 years in design/production related position
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Fluent in MAC Adobe Creative Suite, WoodWing and an asset management system. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be detail- and deadline-oriented. Color correction and knowledge of the printing process helpful. Ability to work with multiple people on the magazine staff, collaborate and problem-solve with and other internal departments, and handle situations as they arise.
