We seek for a "Production Development Specialist" who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in Hitachi Energy in Transformer Components & Service at Tuzla location in Istanbul who is reporting to the Production Manager with below qualifications.

• Ensures compliance with Company and Factory health, safety and environmental directives and that regulations
• Collaborates with engineering, planning, production and quality teams for needs of improvement or investment of tools and equipment in the factory
• Leads to prepare the Capex needs, presents and asks for approvals, monitors and executes the investment and cash out process
• Collaborates with other factories for innovations, problem solving activities and best practices
• Assesses cost effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes; makes and implements recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Supervises tooling operations, ensuring all work is performed accurately and according to quality and safety standards
• Provides guidance and oversight in development and execution of plant renovations and expansions, coordinates outside contractors and vendors
• Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components
• Investigating the development of new methods, technologies, and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications, e.g., improved productivity, capacity, throughput, safety, ergonomics, and quality

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
• More than 5 years of experience at related areas
• Experience in HSE regulations
• Have a certain understanding of quality management, QC tools, Lean tools, Six Sigma understanding of the priority
• Reading and writing English and Turkish can be used as working language, fluent in listening, speaking, reading and writing
• Proficient in MS-Office, SAP knowledge is preferred
• Good communication, easy going personality and organization ability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Military service completed for male applicants
