Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented graphic and production designer capable of self-managing multiple project deliverables as part of our Creative Team Design Dept.
IIDA is currently seeking a talented and self-driven graphic and production designer with a sophisticated eye and strong sense of brand identity. This role will be responsible for graphic design production work for multiple association brands and departments including 12 design competitions. Duties include collaboration with the Design Department and Creative Team on production of designed emails, digital and print brochures, social media graphics, PowerPoints, newsletter, digital and print advertising, and file management. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with demonstrable time management skills who works well in a fast-paced environment, and can meet quick deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITES
General
• Excellent time management skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects and execute work quickly
• Estimate scope and scale of work required to complete project work and communicate with teams in a timely manner
• Participate in team ideation and concept development, with guidance from Creative Director
• Follow design templates and standards to create assets for graphic design projects across departments, focused on email, social media graphics, PowerPoints, newsletter production, brochures and more
• Assist in proofreading and self-check to produce accurate and high-quality work
• Coordinate, maintain, and organize digital files within a pre-established overall file system and archive, meeting Design Department guidelines
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and software updates beneficial to the marketing and promotion of programs and of the Association
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years proven work experience in graphic design, focused on production
• Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines; can handle and move between multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to think creatively, critically, and analytically in a collaborative environment
• Highly proficient to expert experience in Mailchimp; InDesign; Microsoft Office Suite – especially PowerPoint
• Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator, proficient in Adobe After Effects is a bonus
• Ability to articulate ideas and clearly communicate information via email, messaging systems, and in-person
• Strong organizational and administrative skills related to file management and time management
Additional Preferences:
• Work experience at a marketing/advertising agency or within architecture, interior design, environmental design, or multidisciplinary design firms
• Understanding or strong interest in commercial interior design (not residential) or architecture
• Ability or interest in learning video editing for social media and interactive materials
• HTML / CSS

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
