Production Machine Operator

GTG-JAX is currently looking for Rewind Operators. This position must be able to troubleshoot problems, keep the production machines running, and make informed decisions to uphold production standards. We are looking for people to work 12-hour shifts and a rotating 36 / 48 hour per week schedule. This isnota Forklift Operator position! If you have a passion for production, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1 year of working experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment), this might be the job for you. You will be responsible for: • Operating the rewinder and various other machines at centerline speeds. • Setting up machines to minimize waste, web breaks, and maximize production. • Performing and recording all quality checks. • Accurately recording all downtime and communicating with Team Leaders about production and quality issues. • Troubleshoot machines to ensure proper production. • Identifying and replacing consumable components on the machine. • Maintaining proper documentation and accurate counts of material used. GTG-JAX is looking for a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
