Who are we looking for? We are looking for a detail oriented Production Operator that will be responsible for the production activities demanded by MacDermid business operations. What will you be doing? • Work with supervision from a Production 2 employee or above • Learn basic production procedures • Learn to read and understand work instructions and work in a team oriented environment and/or as an individual • Learn how to use RF scanners • Prepare packaging containers with product and warning labels • Learn how to properly clean blend tanks, nozzels, and buckets/drip pans • Work with production equipment including air pumps, scales and mixers • Become an active member of the emergency response team • Practice safe chemical handling methods • Operate forklifts in a safe manner • Maintain a clean work area • Other duties that are assigned by Management Who are You? • Preferred to have 1-year manufacturing/production experience • Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds • Must be able to multi-task • Dedication to workplace safety • Ability to work confidently from heights • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent • Must pass physical exam and drug test • Must have basic mathematical knowledge • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions • Must pass Forklift Driver Certification exam in order to operate forklifts • Must be able to work overtime when required (including weekends) & flexible work schedules.
