Production Operator

Title: Production Operator Location: Jacksonville, FL Duration: Contract to Hire after 90 days First 2-3 months of training will be day shift 6am-630pm on 2x2x3 schedule Perm schedule when hired on will be night shift 6pm to 630am on 2x2x3 schedule Job Summary: Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing and sterilizing all tank lines and filling equipment associates with packaging of our product. Operates ESL filling machines and ensures the production of a high-quality product that meet customer specification and expectations. Essential Functions: Include the following: Other duties may be assigned. 1. Must be able to clean all equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures 2. Must be able to sterilize all equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures. 3. Must ensure chemical concentration levels are correct during cleaning. 4. Perform duties as per master sanitation schedule. 5. Checks production sheets for quantities and the number of orders to be filled. 6. Checks with ESL processor to determine where product is located. Verifies for changes or specific instructions. 7. Sanitize filler as required. 8. Checks for line and pump leaks on filler and all product lines. 9. Discards initial packaged product at the beginning and at the changeover of each run. 10. Checks weights at the start of each product change and every half hour throughout the run. Checks the code for correctness and quality on a half hour basis. Job Type: Contract Pay: $20.52 - $22.37 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: • Day shift Work Location: In person
