Job Description
LS Technologies is seeking a program analyst who will support concepts development around manned and unmanned traffic management within the national airspace.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize development of advanced aviation concepts as they pertain to the National Airspace System (NAS) to include unmanned aircraft systems integration, Air Traffic Control (ATC) modernization, and future technologies.
- Perform concept development and validation activities in support of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM), Upper E Traffic Management (ETM), and Urban Air Mobility (UAM).
- Perform analysis and conduct activities designed to develop and refine operational concepts, including use case and operational scenario development, and operational analysis.
- Develop professional documents including Concept of Operations (ConOps), white papers, technical reports, briefings, and other products in accordance with established formatting standards. Subsequently, present materials to peers, customers, and stakeholders.
- Conduct evaluations, analyses, and studies as needed and present recommendations and/or solutions.
- Interface with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) stakeholder organizations in support of concept development and validation initiatives.
- Interact with FAA partners and industry to identify and document stakeholder needs/inputs.
- Facilitate Concept team meetings, track deliverables, and activity status.
Required Experience:
- Five to ten years' experience as a program analyst (or in a comparable position).
- Proficient with MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong people skills to ensure effective and efficient working relationships with customer and peers.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of the NAS, ATC principles, NAS systems (or other comparable, complex systems/environments).
- Understanding of or experience in the development of supporting architectures, operational views, information flows and/or data exchange diagrams.
- Previous experience with FAA.
