Program Management Intern

POSITION SUMMARY

BorgWarner ETTS is currently looking for "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as a Program Management Intern at our Powertrain Technical Center (PTC), Auburn Hills MI.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Global Program Reviews. This includes preparing agendas, ensuring presentation materials are loaded to SharePoint, consolidating presentation materials, and preparing Action Item files.

• Assist with xPro Program Launch Database testing and deployment initiatives.
• Obtain monthly ETTS program launch updates.
• Support and validate monthly ETTS Program Launch metrics.
• Assist with Program Management (PM) Tools and Processes.
• Maintain the Program Management Organizational Checklist.
• Assist with maintenance of PM training material.
• Support additional PM projects as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications)

• Minimum second or third year. (Operations Management, Business, or Engineering student preferred.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Organization and Comprehension Skills.
• Self-motivated individual.
• Excel, PowerPoint, and Word basics.

This position will adhere to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarner PTC Safety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires. This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses. He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and coworkers. In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to the immediate supervisor.
