This is an in office position.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Manager (PM) assists the administrative needs and provides supervision over day-to-day operations of the project. The PM manages employees and existing personnel in accordance with company and contract requirements ensuring compliance with CPLC and Local Workforce Development Board policies and procedures, compiles and analyzes information from a variety of sources to assist in the preparation of reports, compares performance data to contract and/or state goals on a weekly basis, and facilitates staff training. The PM will have an understanding of and conduct training and needs assessments, provide leadership in developing and implementing solutions for various challenges, will be responsible for ensuring timely submissions of required reports and timely submission of reports as required, and may conduct meetings involving all staff. Interprets and applies regulations and policies and ensures consistency and compliance with governing laws and regulations, investigates, troubleshoots and develops/recommends solutions to inquiries, problems and issues. The PM will also provide comprehensive services of Chicanos Por La Causa’S (CPLC) City of Phoenix WIOA Youth Program to program participants in the Phoenix metro. PM’s will support, encourage, and guide clients to increase the success of goals & objectives and a healthy outlook of life. The PM is also responsible for outreach and recruitment, coaching of the Individual Service Strategy (ISS), provide occupational and skills training, Work Experience (WEX) opportunities, supportive services and follow-up/retention services. Communicate regularly with educators, mentors, and other professionals, generate reports, and produce and maintain comprehensive online and/or physical case files for participants in the Phoenix metro area.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Assist with administrative needs and supervise day-to-day operations of the project

• Conduct staff meetings as needed
• Provide comprehensive services through CPLC’s City of Phoenix WIOA Youth Program
• Support, encourage, and guide program participants in the Phoenix metro area
• Help participants achieve goals and maintain a positive, healthy outlook on life
• Conduct outreach and recruitment of participants
• Coach participants on their Individual Service Strategy (ISS)
• Provide:

• Communicate regularly with:

• May perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field and two years of experience in casework management, working with youth, or related activities
• Any other equivalent combinations of experience, education and training which provides the ability to perform job duties
• Effective interviewing and coaching techniques and procedures
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, public speaking, problem-solving, analytical skills, multi-tasking, organizational skills, leadership, and time management
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Office365 (Preferred)
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license and able to drive participants on occasion
• Must be able to obtain Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Able to react to change productively, work a flexible schedule when needed and handle other essential and marginal functions as assigned
Location: Chicanos Por La Causa · LNY - WRKFRC
Schedule: Regular - Full Time (FT), Days, M-F 9:00-5:00
