We are seeking a Program Manager I to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet.
What you get to do:
As a Program Manager for the Data Operations team, you will be responsible for day-to-day coordination of two Operations pods consisting of talented data engineers working across multiple time zones. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data ingest support tasks are performed to satisfactory completion. This person will also have the opportunity to identify and implement process improvements as our business grows and evolves, while ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures.

Salary Range: $65,000 to $80,000
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.

What you will contribute:
- Drive day-to-day coordination of Uplight's Data Operations team through oversight of two pods that support 85+ energy operating companies
- Triage and prioritize incoming tickets and manage the daily stand-up and retrospective ceremonies
- Facilitate pod-level Agile ceremonies (Stand-ups, Retrospectives, Planning, etc)
- Identify and drive continuous improvement within our culture.
- Work in a cross-functional, fast-paced role to deliver high-quality solutions on time and in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Support special situations such as customer events and deployment activities (e.g. data loads)
- Manage the process by which new projects are transitioned from development to Operations
- Build robust and well-documented processes to facilitate data triage and associated fixes in a repeatable way
What you bring to Uplight:
- Experience in project management, product management, data analysis, or equivalent
- An ability to develop relationships across the organization in support of efficient delivery of work
- Ability to support multiple projects in parallel
- Knowledge of data Quality Control processes, data models, data management
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
- Familiarity with Agile product development (Scrum or Kanban)
- Excellent analytical, teamwork, and communication skills
- Prior experience in data pipelines, ETL, and/or analytics
- Passion for clean energy
Bonus Points:
- Experience in the utility industry
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
- Familiarity with data handling/data sovereignty concepts
- PMP or Scrum Master certification
- Ability to work eastern time zone
