This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. Job Description
HII-Mission Technologies is looking for a self-motivated Program Manager (PM) in Tampa, FL with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment. During this role, the PM is responsible for running the daily operations of the contracts, including but not limited to cost, schedule, and performance supporting the division's goals and objectives.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the oversight and performance of defense intelligence projects or a definable portion of a larger operational and technical program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Closely works with project managers to ensure all technical, cost, and schedule milestones are achieved within the project.
- Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities.
- Manages the operational and technical direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
- Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
- Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
- Defines project scope and objectives.
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
- Provides technical and analytical guidance to project teams.
- Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
- Responsible for the functional management of operational and technical teams.
- May supervise professional and technical personnel performing in their regular disciplines.
- Participates in the development and execution of budgets, marketing plans and other strategic tools.
- Participates in driving initiatives for achieving established objectives.
- May serve as the primary or assistant technical and management interface for the company, customer, and senior staff.
- Provides management services including general administrative oversight, time accounting, financial tracking, cost projection, inventory management, personnel evaluation, and support.
- Establish clear organizational lines of authority and responsibility to ensure effective management of the resources.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and professional and ethical behavior of all personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge or defense intelligence services, analysis, data, and systems.
- Experience leading large complex projects or multidisciplined teams.
- Able to supervise, manage, support, and evaluate personnel.
- Experience at a Combatant Command or equivalent organization; and experience in the regional, political, and military issues in the Middle East or Central and South Asia regions.
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI.
