PROGRAM MANAGER (Req 23 054)

Responsibilities: Apply knowledge and experience in acquisition program management policies and procedures to USAF systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities , post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles. Apply a full range of acquisition program management policies/procedures to perform a wide range of acquisition management activities in support of the existing and future F/B Directorate aircraft programs and platforms. Support the review of proposals as assigned by the customer. Assist in the coordination of documentation between functional resources to include: financial management, program management, contracting, CM, engineering, and logistics management. Assist in consolidating functional inputs into common documents. Assist in planning for the accomplishment of various program milestones.

Provide assistance in risk management, project management, process improvement support, and logistics support. Participate in process improvement activities as members of, or advisors to, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Product/Process Improvement Working Groups (PIWGs).

Assist in the collection of programmatic inputs from acquisition programs throughout their life cycles to include: research, develop, produce, test, acquire, field, sustain and modernize existing and advanced war-winning capabilities, on-time and on-cost of the FI B Directorate portfolio for the US. Assist in supporting UON execution teams by providing special knowledge to assist in recommending accelerated test concepts, minimum levels of integration required to satisfy operational need, and trade-offs among risk, schedule, performance, and cost.

Assist in developing, analyzing, and maintaining a master integrated program schedule from concept exploration to fielding a system. Assist in employing networking software tools and capabilities to support lower tier schedule networking, network statusing, generation of network graphics, assignment of realistic durations and relationships to network elements. Assist in evaluating weapon system contractor-proposed schedules against Government schedules, assessing Government program office schedules against schedule databases and conducting probabilistic and deterministic risk assessments on both Contractor and Government schedules by performing a Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) using Monte Carlo simulation-based software. Assist in utilizing various types of scheduling software and integrate weapon system contractor and Government schedule data with the FI B Directorate's schedule databases.

Education: BA/BS degree from an accredited university.

Allowable Substitution: Fifteen (15) years of directly related experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.

Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical/discipline being performed, three (3) of which must be in the DoD. Knowledge of development and test activities required to support warfighter Urgent Operational Needs (UON) and Joint Urgent Operational Needs (JUON).

Other: An Active Top Secret/SAP Security Clearance is required.
