Program Solutions Analyst

SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Program Solutions Analyst.  SageSure is seeking an individual to oversee the technical analysis, development, user acceptance testing (UAT) and delivery of strategic projects. The Program Solutions Analyst role will develop a breadth of subject-matter expertise on topics which include SageSure’s insurance products, operations, and user experience. A commanding and influential demeanor, coupled with the capacity to inspire trust and convey authority, is crucial for success in this role.

What you’d be doing: 

• Work seamlessly in the intersection between insurance operations (business) and our technology organization.
• Ability to comprehend technology and collaborate closely with developers.
• Assist with the implementation of strategic projects and new program conventions focusing on form, guidelines and coverage perspectives.
• Provide end-to-end coverage for strategic projects, including requirements analysis, documentation, liaison with developers/engineers, UAT, delivery, and post-launch support.
• Use critical thinking skills to deliver innovation and practical solutions to solve complex problems.
• Uphold the established standard of excellence for quality and timely project delivery.
• Analyze data to inform recommendations and decision-making.
• Communicate and navigate effectively with stakeholders from different disciplines and competencies with a demonstrated executive presence
• Ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned.

We’re looking for someone who has: 

• Proficiency operating in a fast-paced work environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong math aptitude and analytical thinking.
• Proficiency in written and oral communication skills. 

Highly preferred candidates also have: 

• Previous experience in Property & Casualty insurance industry is preferred.
• Applied knowledge of SQL/TSQL/XML/HTML/JSON.
• Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: C#, C++, Python, R.
• Proficiency in Visual Studio Code and GitLab.
• Experience with workforce management software (JIRA).
