Job Description

As a Program Specialist, you will be responsible for the activities supporting new hire orientation, program management, and including some moderating. As Program Specialist, you will also support other global onboarding programs, events, or projects through process execution, service to team and program participants, and maintenance of materials and documentation. Additionally, you will support program requirements at multiple stages through successful completion, meeting all deadlines, executing project related tasks, and accomplishing defined deliverables. You will provide service and support for the program participants in the form of troubleshooting, data analytics, processes, strategies, and dashboards. You will maintain accurate documentation, updates to collaterals and reporting to support program operations and goals. You will research processes and best practices to determine an appropriate course of action. You will manage small scale projects or parts of larger programs.

Working Environment

Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #RemoteQualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • At least 4 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education
Preferred Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 1 year experience supporting various programs in virtual & classroom settings
  • Preferred location is in Kansas City, MO
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Works independently in a fast-paced environment
Expectations
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within the scope of the position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
