Programmer Analyst

Location: Richmond, VA - local candidates only
Position Type: Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite

Position Overview:
In this role you will design and implement a digital Daylog system to track auditor working hours, expenses, and activities, providing real-time monitoring capabilities for both field staff and management while integrating seamlessly with the existing platform.
Duties:

• Design and develop a comprehensive Daylog module within the existing system that will serve as a digital timesheet, enabling Tax Field Auditors to efficiently track their working hours and maintain accurate records of audit activities and caseload progress.
• Create an expense tracking functionality that allows auditors to record, categorize, and submit various types of expenses incurred during field operations, ensuring proper documentation and streamlined reimbursement processes.
• Implement automated reporting capabilities that generate detailed summaries of working hours and expenses, providing management with real-time visibility into auditor productivity, resource allocation, and project status across the department.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design intuitive user interfaces, and ensure seamless integration between the Daylog module and existing system while maintaining system performance and data integrity.
• Develop flexible and scalable solutions that can accommodate additional features and requirements as identified by management, while following best practices for code quality, documentation, and testing throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills:

• 2 years of experience with Angular
• 2 years of experience with SQL and Oracle Database
• 2 years of experience with REST API
• Experience and understanding Tax Audit Process is preferable
• Experience and understanding Time and Expense tracking system is preferable
