Project Accountant

PROJECT ACCOUNTANT 60K TO 65K No need to have Deltek, we will need to train them on everything as needed. This position can be more of an entry level role as they will get trained on most everything. The main skill they need now is strong excel skills and a desire to learn as much as possible. Billing 1. Set-up and maintain projects and billing terms in Deltek Vision. 2. Review and log all sub-consultant invoices to ensure that they are in compliance with contractual terms and the appropriate back-up is provided. 3. Prepare customized reports for billing review meetings. 4. Meet with all Project Managers to review the status of all projects. 5. Create monthly invoices, including providing accurate back-up documentation to clients. Project Budget / Planning 1. Set-up new project budgets in Deltek Vision. 2. Assist Project Managers in usage of Project Planning in Deltek. 3. Respond to internal request for project data including the creation of custom excel files as needed. Journal Entries 1. Record adjustments to general ledger as needed on a cash and accrual basis. 2. Prepare all monthly-end and year-end adjusting entries. Bank Reconciliations 1. Complete all monthly bank reconciliations and identify any adjustments needed. 2. Communicate with bank regarding any bank charges that need to be reversed. 3. Recommend adjustments needed to reconcile the bank account. In-House Logs 1. Enter monthly in-house logs for various projects. a. Mileage b. Model Shop c. Postage d. Parking e.
