Job Description

LHH is seeking a Project Accountant to join the client’s finance team. The position requires experience in accounting, financial analysis, and project management. • Oversee contract management from project initiation through completion using Deltek Vision. • Prepare invoice packages, including draft and final invoices and all relevant supporting documentation for projects. • Handle accounts payable duties such as coding, obtaining approval, scanning into the accounting system, managing vendor payment inquiries, and processing 1099s annually. • Process and reconcile credit card transactions submitted via expense reports. • Track receivables and assist partners and project managers with collections. • Support senior management with various ad-hoc analyses when required. • Identify potential improvements and provide suggestions related to procedures, processes, or tools to enhance efficiency and productivity. • Perform additional accounting tasks as necessary. • Provide backup support for front office operations.Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in an architecture, engineering, or construction environment. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field. • Experience with project tracking, client commitments, and invoicing. • Knowledge of AIA contracts and add service agreements. • Experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint preferred; other similar software experience is acceptable. • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe. • Able to work efficiently with attention to detail. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with project managers, senior leadership, and clients.
