Project Architect / Project Manager

1. FZAD Architecture + Design is a seven person office that does creative retail, commercial and residential interior projects using AutoCad Architecture. We use 3D in our presentations using SketchUp. We are looking for a project architect with 5 years experience that understand Alt 1 and Alt 2 filings for residential apartments, brownstones, retail stores, and additions and hosues. The architect should have clarity on the construction process and what a working drawing package should consist of and what belongs on each sheet. The architect must be able to think 3 dimensionally to coordinate plans, elevations and sections. The draftsmen/architect must be proficient in English to write construction notes and be able to describe a scope of work when preparing working drawings. 2. You must have a working knowledge of millwork details and finishes that go into a drawing. 3. We are looking for a full time salary staff. We offer benefits. Our office hours are 9:30-6:30, and the location is on 56th Street between 5th/6th Avenue, in the heart of mid-town.
