Project Based Computer Programmer

We are looking for an experiencedcomputer programmerto develop acustom Kitchen Display System (KDS)andorder fulfillment appfor our multi-location bakery business. This is aproject-based contractwith the potential for additional work after completion. Project Scope: • Build acustom KDSintegrated withSquare POS • Display orders in real time withitem-level completion tracking • Develop a connectedorder fulfillment appto streamline production and delivery • Deliver apolished, reliable, bug-tested solutionwithdecent UXthat isfuture-proofedfor expansion and long-term maintenance Requirements: • Proficiency inJavaScript, Node.js, API integrations • Strong experience withSquare APIor similar POS API systems • Solid database management and cloud hosting skills • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and produceclean, scalable code • UI/UX design skills a plus Compensation: Project-based —Estimated budget $8,000–$12,000, negotiable based on experience and scope. Payment by agreed milestones. Ownership & Partnership Opportunity: All code, designs, and related work will be the exclusive property of our company. However, we are open to discussing afuture partnershipif we decide to offer this product to other bakeries. This would be ashared business opportunity— but the programmer may not sell, license, or distribute the work independently. About Us: We operate multiple high-volume bakery locations in NYC. This system will be central to improving our order tracking and fulfillment efficiency.
