Primary Responsibilities
HDR is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Boise office. In the role of Project Coordinator, we'll count on you to provide project support to project managers and technical staff primarily in our Transportation business group. The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned:
Business Group and Staff Support
- Assist staff in preparation of expense reports.
- Assist with workload planning and workload forecasting.
- Coordinate and/or manage preparations for project and staff meetings.
Project Support
- Assist in the management, maintenance, and distribution of project schedules.
- Monitor, track, and file project documentation and correspondence.
- Scan and/or copy project related documents and deliverables.
- Technical editing and formatting of project related documents such as specifications, technical reports, and memos.
- Prepare correspondence, review and summarize reports and data, take and publish meeting notes.
- Update and distribute monthly financial reporting documents.
Quality Program
- Assist Project Managers with project start-up and project review documentation.
- Assist in with the development and maintenance of the project filing structure.
- Draft and maintain project management plans and quality management plans.
- Assist with project close-out.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree (A.A.) with preferred four years related experience, six years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 1+ years related experience
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Previous A/E industry experience or consulting industry preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project (or other scheduling software), Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, ProjectWise, and PowerPoint.
- Additional software skills (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, MS Project and Illustrator) desired.
- Ability to perform diversified clerical functions and basic accounting procedures.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands for your time in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
