Project Director

You as a Project Director will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As the Project Director, you will provide leadership for the projects within your portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall scope of the project is delivered, taking ownership for the forecast, risk, and financial management, whilst also working closely with functional leads to ensure exceptional overall project execution and delivery. This key role oversees project teams and coordinates activities to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget, to a high standard. You will provide the leadership and strategic direction when managing risks, monitoring finances and in project delivery. The Health, Safety, Environment and Security of the project and all those working within it will be a top priority.

• Managing scope including the collection and management of all project issues.
• Ensuring that all opportunities for customer satisfaction, gross margin improvement and project growth are captured and acted upon.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in an engineering or other relevant field.
• Extensive years of experience in large multi-faceted electrical projects.
• Demonstrated experience in project management of large or mega projects.
• Experience managing projects under different contractual models.
• Proactive and highly organized, experience in coordinating multiple teams in remote locations within a complex/matrixed organization.
• Financial knowledge and commercial skills in relation to EPC project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
