Job Description
Assist Senior Project Managers in evaluating and reporting on large project cost, schedule and quality status during construction and through project closeout. Provide assistance in change order evaluation for scope, time impact, and cost; assist in negotiations for final settlement and provide technical evaluation and report to Owner. Evaluate or develop Schedule of Values to ensure completeness of project scope/cost and to validate progress payments and invoicing. Evaluate baseline and progress schedules for construction projects to validate contractor performance and provide advice to clients for schedule revision and report project status. Read construction drawings and technical specifications to determine scope, quality, quantity of construction to advise Owner for project status and payments. Assist in defense of construction claims, change orders and project closeout. Provide planning assistance to Owner in planning for commissioning and move-management at project completion. Utilize various software including Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office.
Qualifications
Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience utilizing various software including Primavera P6, MS Project and MSOffice. Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) certification required.
The salary range for this position is $143,270 to $143,270.
