Range Operations assignment is to create optimal preconditions for the business and people to design, develop and manage the IKEA range offer in a connected and optimised IKEA value chain – to deliver growth and enable low cost.
IKEA is on an ambitious and exciting growth journey. Over the coming years we are investing to develop IKEA and within the area Range Operations and we have several interesting ongoing and upcoming initiatives. Therefore we are recruiting a Project Leader who is capable and have the willingness to lead initiatives with global impact
Job Description
As a Project Leader your overall responsibility will be to lead global business development projects from start to implementation. Within this scope you will, lead and manage a project team constituting of assigned business and digital professionals from the line. With your assignment in focus you will interact with and manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and line organization, coordinate both internal and external stakeholders in different levels and geographical locations. You will navigate with your project in a complex and international environment which can be both challenging and inspiring.

Your backgroundÂ
You have a good understanding of connecting people, process, data & technology. Your greatest strengths is your leadership and you have a strong belief in the IKEA leadership approach, leading Business & People together. You will take full ownership and responsibility for your projects and have a proven ability to manage and execute large, complex projects.Â
We believe that to be successful in this role you need to:Â
- Have solid knowledge and experience in managing and leading teams and stakeholders working with digital development with a proven track record of delivering resultsÂ
- Have solid knowledge and experience in project management processes including methods and tools; scope, time, cost, risk, quality, communication, procurement and how to integrate these processes.
- Have a senior experience of leading global digital projects from start to implementationÂ
- Be able to perform on a strategic, tactical and operational levelÂ
- Be comfortable in a complex, dynamic, diverse and ever evolving business environmentÂ
- Have knowledge in change management methods and tools
- Be confident, strong as communicator and able to influence a wide range of stakeholders across the IKEA value chain at the same time sensitive to people different needs
- Preferably having knowledge in IKEA business processes and understanding of Information Technology and relevant production models
Additional informationÂ
This is a permanent role based at IKEA of Sweden in Ă„lmhult. The role as Project Leader is crucial for developing our business. We believe that your presence with the team and the business is important why you have the spirit to spend the the majority of the time in the workplace. We do offer the flexibility to work from home a couple of days per week. You will report to Lars Gulin Team Manager for Project Leaders within Range Operations Planning and when assigned to a project to the respective Business Owner.Â
