Project Management interfaces between the client, operations, and business development to cultivate strong relationships, obtain repeat business, enhance the scope of current projects, or identify new projects with existing clients. The "Patient first" mindset is central to PM and drives the team to guide projects to successful completion with the highest quality and expedience. PM is responsible for coordinating the entire project and ensuring deadlines are met and that the project stays on budget. Team members should be inspirational, creative, and motivational when leading their project team constantly challenging ways to deliver over and above expectations.

This is a permanent, full time position. The shift is Monday - Friday, days

Catalent Biologics in Bloomington, Indiana is a state-of-the-art, GMP manufacturing facility, providing one million sq/ft of drug substance manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, and related pharmaceutical services. The Role:

  • Delivers on assigned program objectives within agreed upon time, budget, scope, and quality.
  • Applies sound project management practices within assigned projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and balance multiple, often changing priorities with minimal support.
  • Manages cross-functional, multi-site project teams.
  • Manages the overall project scope, budget and schedule including tech transfer.
  • Maintains open, collaborative and solution focused communication with clients and provides periodic updates & progress reports.
  • Monitors progress of assigned programs to ensure on-time milestone and budget completion while ensuring high quality deliverables are provided to the client.
  • Troubleshoots problems with minimal assistance. Consistently seeks and promotes innovative solutions or approaches to problem solving in a highly flexible and interactive manner as scientific data reveals new information or requirements evolve or change.

The Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree- Required
  • Knowledge and expertise in project management practices; working knowledge of biological sciences and finance; proficient computer skills required including MS Project.
  • Approximately 3 years direct experience in project management, pharmaceutical industry
  • Working knowledge of Biologics Cell Culture, Purification and/or Analytics preferred.
  • Professional experience in a related field such as Biologics, Biotechnology, Pharma preferred.
  • PMP or PM certification or course work preferred
