Job Description
The NBCUniversal Team is looking for a Project Manager. There is no production without post production. The team is responsible for StudioPost's Picture and Audio Post Production Operations, including dailies processing, color correction, composting and much more! By working together, the team provides excellence of service while optimizing the cost-of-service delivery and enabling scalable operations solutions.
You will be responsible for the ownership and management of TV Episodic Post projects and are accountable for successful project execution.
What You'll Do:

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients as well as internal operations and planning teams
  • Team up with other Episodic Post Project managers to assign, supervise, and load-level scheduler work (from order creation through to timely billing of projects).
  • Work with clients, management, and operations teams to ensure bid accuracy
  • Conduct productive pre-production meetings and attend other meetings as required
  • Drive each project to successful completion including adhering to the project budget and timely billing
  • Evaluate client feedback and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Immediately escalate critical client facing issues to the management team
  • Efficient planning of operational resources required to fulfill project needs
  • Daily effective communication with clients, client concierge, and talent to ensure sessions go well; meeting/exceeding customer expectations
  • Liaise with Planning and Operations departments to ensure projects stay on track
  • Keep stakeholders informed of overall project progress and issues as they arise
  • Responsible for the seamless transition of work from day to swing/night and weekend shifts
  • Work closely with Operations management teams to troubleshoot and resolve client and internal operational issues, including rapid resolution of "day of" issues
  • Identify potential overages prior to additional work being started, and work with clients to review the options and workable solutions
  • Team up with Operations and Engineering teams to establish new or more efficient workflows
  • Actively participate in departmental process improvement initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to enhance quality, increase productivity, and drive efficiencies

  • Always on time- The studio operations team will excel with your keen attention to work due dates and schedule commitments


What You Must Have:

  • Minimum 3 years recent professional work experience in television post-production project management
  • Demonstrated expertise in television post-production concepts, technologies and workflows
  • Possess solid track record of successful project management
  • Possess excellent documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure when faced with difficult situations
  • Demonstrated passion for providing a positive customer experience
  • Demonstrated independent judgment, accountability for decisions, actions, and results.


What Would Make You a Stand-out:

  • Bachelor's degree and Xytech/ScheduAll knowledge is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in post-production television post production preferred
  • Flexibility and an ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Microsoft Excel experience preferred


Additional Requirements:

  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite


This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
