This candidate provides project to support the execution of projects for facilities through the development of project scopes, project delivery methods, and implementation strategies. They will plan, oversee, and coordinate the development of actionable project scopes, schedules, budgets, facilitate detailed analysis of project delivery methodologies and determine recommended delivery methodologies for capital projects

Your Impact

• Work as an individual or as part of a cross-functional team of engineers, planners, and scientific professionals to execute project work, assist with laying out installations, establishing reference points/elevations/grades to guide construction, calculating costs and quantities of material/equipment/labor, and ensuring project work conforms with specifications, permit applications, compliance documentation, and regulatory and technical analysis memos.
• Translate goals into actionable items.
• Prepare data and visualizations such as tables, charts, accurate reports, sketches, calculations, and 2D/3D illustrations for the interpretation or presentation of data, findings, or analyses.
• Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate and precise measurements, statistical analysis, and reporting.
• Assist with development and scoping of capital projects.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and presentations that explain research and findings to improve, prevent, control, restore, or address design and/or construction issues or problems.
• Work collaboratively with other engineers, planners, scientific professionals, and infrastructure authorities on Federal, State, regional, and locally funded improvement and development projects.
• Ability to think systematically, integrating people, processes, and tools in a manner that drives measurable outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, expressing ideas effectively to a technical and non-technical audience, including executive level presentations.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Architecture, Construction, Project Management or closely related discipline.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated successful experience in overall construction and project management on large-scale capital works projects. Transit projects appreciated.
• Ability to coordinate with agency regulators and understand requirements.
• Capable interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
• Effective self-leadership with attention to detail, results orientation, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
• Demonstrated experience in financial planning, modeling, forecasting, and analysis, and
• Demonstrated experience in developing, managing, and implementing complex and high-profile projects and programs.
• Moderate proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, technology, math principles, predictive models, spreadsheets, and tools.
• Experience with discipline-specific design software (i.e., MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, OpenRail).
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to apply technical knowledge to reach conclusions from testing results, data collation, statistical analysis and arriving at the most effective, economical, and logical solution.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
• Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
• Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Management or Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer
