Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee remodeling projects, new home construction, and commercial builds. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and a proven ability to manage subcontractors and budgets effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and coordinate remodeling, new residential, and commercial construction projects • Read and interpret construction plans and specifications • Execute and track change orders with precision and timelines • Supervise subcontractors and ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance • Monitor project budgets and control costs to meet financial targets • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules to ensure timely project completion • Identify and resolve project delays or issues proactively • Coordinate permitting processes and schedule inspections as required • Ensure all work complies with local building codes, permits, and safety regulations • Conduct regular site visits and quality control checks • Manage project punch lists and final closeouts • Act as the primary point of contact for clients; maintain clear, consistent communication • Provide regular updates and reports on project status, timelines, and changes • Travel to job sites as needed (valid driver’s license required) Required Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction management or a related field • Proven track record in residential and commercial construction • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and specifications • Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and change orders • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities • Solid knowledge of OSHA regulations and job site safety best practices • Valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications: • Proficient in construction management software (e.g., OneDrive, Slack, iPhone, Microsoft) is a plus • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus • First Aid and CPR certified a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $110,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year Ability to Commute: • Palo Alto, CA 94303 (Required) Work Location: In person
