POSITION OVERVIEW

The Project Manager III leads the engineering development of new and complex products. This Individual functions independently in order to plan, monitor, and coordinate the technical execution portion of a development project. This role also mentors other project managers and owns specific process development.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Create engineering plans for assigned product development programs.
• Coordinate the establishment of detailed validation plans for new programs and ensures product meets customer and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate all assigned engineering releases.
• Coordinate regular technical project launch meetings with the cross functional engineering teams. and documents status with detailed notes.
• Manage engineering scope changes.
• Lead cross functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues and risks.
• Lead engineering quotations for new technologies and review engineering quotations for existing technologies.
• Own and improve specific project management processes.
• Coordinate team to complete engineering project milestone deliverables on schedule.
• Coach, mentor and/or lead other project managers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.

WHAT TO BRING

• Education - BS in engineering or related technical degree
• Minimum of 10 years of product development experience in electrical or mechanical devices.
• Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, process development and project/program management skills.

WHAT WILL HELP

• M.S. in engineering or related technical field.
• Leadership experience.
• Smartsheet proficiency.
• Experience working with electrical, mechanical, or Software design.
• Experience in Project or Program Management.
• Experience in the Automotive industry.
• Project Management Professional Certification.
• Experience working with ASPICE.
• Experience with ISO-26262 regulations/requirements.
