Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and coordinate facility service operations — with a strong focus on janitorial services. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, compliance with client requirements, and maintaining strong relationships with client representatives at multiple branch locations. This role also requires experience managing teams in unionized environments, ensuring compliance with union contracts and fostering positive labor relations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage day-to-day janitorial service operations for multiple branch locations, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, union agreements, and company standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between DMS Facility Services and client management teams.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to meet operational targets.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and fulfill client requests.
• Monitor project budgets, prepare reports, and ensure cost efficiency.
• Lead and motivate on-site janitorial teams, providing training and guidance.
• Handle escalations, address client concerns, and ensure prompt resolution of service issues.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and participate in review meetings with client representatives.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project management, preferably in janitorial services.
• Experience working in unionized environments and knowledge of union contracts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple locations and teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).Able to communicate at a functional level with Supervisor.
