About The Role As a Project Manager on the Business Operations Team within Finance & Corporate Services, you will lead cross-functional initiatives that drive strategic impact across the business. You’ll scope and manage projects end-to-end, navigate ambiguity, identify and remove blockers, and partner closely with stakeholders to keep the work moving forward. This role requires structured thinking, clear communication, strong follow-through, and the ability to translate ideas into action. The role will be largely project based, and you will be expected to work to scope projects, build project plans, help craft a business case, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations to bring each project to fruition. You'll also have the opportunity to partner with senior leaders at the company to implement recommendations in collaboration with G2 team members across functions. Projects the PMO team has managed include revamping Pricing & Packaging, Annual Revenue Planning, launching Localization, rolling out Pay Transparency, Tier 1 product launches, implementing new software tools and/or leading software migration, re-vamping our revenue reporting, acquisition integrations and more. In This Role, You Will: • Project Scoping & Planning:Lead the scoping phase of projects with minimal support; define project goals, workstreams, timelines, ROI metrics, and success criteria in partnership with project leads and sponsors. • Execution Management: Own the end-to-end delivery of moderately complex cross-functional projects. Track tasks, milestones, and timelines, and drive accountability across stakeholders. • Stakeholder Alignment:Identify and engage the right stakeholders early. Deliver regular, informative updates to ensure alignment and momentum. • Building a Business Case: Use data to evaluate the projected ROI of a proposed project or initiative to ensure we are deploying resources wisely, in partnership with project leads, stakeholders, and our finance team. • Risk & Issue Management:Proactively identify risks and blockers, escalate as needed, and propose resolutions to maintain progress. • Project Communication:Craft clear, structured updates for various audiences, including leadership. Own project announcements and deliver communication plans that support visibility and adoption. • Documentation & Tracking:Maintain clean, consistent documentation using project templates, briefs, RACIs, trackers, and dashboards. • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, and other departments to ensure project dependencies are clearly communicated and deliverables stay on track. • Continuous Improvement:Share learnings, contribute to PMO best practices, and help improve how the team tracks and delivers work Minimum Qualifications: We realize applying for jobs can feel daunting at times. Even if you don’t check all the boxes in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. • 2-5 years experience in consulting, professional services, a growth startup or similarly fast-paced environment, inclusive of dedicated project management experience • Demonstrated experience delivering cross-functional projects from scoping to execution, inclusive of building project plans. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams • Highly organized with attention to detail, excellent time management, and a strong sense of ownership • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing • Ability to build effective presentations that create alignment and clarity • Intermediate excel/google sheets and powerpoint/google slides skills What Can Help Your Application Stand Out: • Experience in a SaaS, consulting or fast-paced tech environment • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methods • Experience supporting product and/or go-to-market teams • Experience using Business Intelligence tools to pull data • Experience using AI tools to automate routine project management tasks Our Commitment to Inclusivity and Diversity At G2, we are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse environment where people of every background can thrive and feel welcome.
