What We Are Looking For: The Taylor International team is seeking a Project Manager with proven experience and a strong commitment to customer service. We are looking to add a key team member as we undergo a phase of rapid growth and development. The Project Manager oversees and leads multi-million-dollar commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in project planning, execution, and delivery. This position requires a strong background in construction management, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. The Project Manager also provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of Taylor International. In this role, you will: • Analyze projects to determine their scope, cost, and schedule requirements. Develop comprehensive project plans and strategies. • Effectively prioritize tasks and resources to ensure competitive projects are completed on schedule. Optimize purchasing and resource allocation. • Establish priorities for Assistant Project Managers and review their work product. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. • Facilitate coordination among trade contractors through regular weekly meetings. Ensure seamless collaboration and communication. • Oversee all vendors and trade contractors, managing their scopes of work and addressing changes as necessary. • Work with Preconstruction to understand the scope of a bid for a project that has been awarded to • Work with Preconstruction to choose qualified Subcontractors, verify their scopes, and negotiate subcontracts that are within the adjusted budgets. • Coordinate the collection of scopes of work, safety programs, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) requirements, and submittals for field personnel. Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. • Routinely visit projects to check on job progress quality of work, resolve issues, check safety, take pictures, and meet with owners. • Supervise and support the activities of APMs & PMAs, and Superintendents for a project. • Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered, especially with 15 years of related experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with scheduling software, with Prolog expertise being advantageous. • 5 to 15 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in multi-million-dollar commercial construction projects. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. • Effective communication and leadership skills. • Adept at managing project budgets and schedules. • Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
