Reports to: Branch Manager
Summary:The Project Manger is responsible for the supervision of extra billable projects, including but not limited to planting, irrigation, and hardscape enhancements of commercial landscape maintenance accounts. Project Managers are accountable for exceeding customer expectations, and job profitability through preparation of competitive proposals, efficient management, and quality installations.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Partner with Maintenance Account Managers and their clients to recommend and propose site improvements. Assist with development of long-term budgets. Negotiate enhancement proposals.
· Schedule, coordinate, and supervise enhancement projects, ensuring production, quality and budget controls.
· Process timely billing and job costing data, and correlate with standard estimating procedures.
· Develop a quality production team through leadership and hands-on training of crew.
· Foster cooperation with staff and Maintenance Account Managers to ensure responsive concern for client needs and expectations.
Summary of Specific Responsibilities:
· Enhancement Sales
A. Preparation of Estimates
B. Preparation of Proposals, Long Term Budgets, and Presentations
· Supervision of Projects
A. Preparation of Work Orders, Details, and Specifications
B. Procurement of Materials and Equipment, Coordination of Sub Contractors
C. Supervision of personnel
D. Schedule/Coordinated project Timeline, Change Orders, and Punch-lists through prompt Project Completions
E. Maintain communication with customers throughout project timeline
· Project Costing and Billing
A. Be responsible for accurate documentation of project costs through Material Use Report processing
B. Close project and submit Billing paperwork for invoicing
C. Analyze project budget and actual costs and relate to future estimates
· Crew Management and Development
A. Hire and Develop crew members
B. Evaluate performance and prepare Performance Reviews
Field time is essential in the successful development of Operations Management. The Operations Management Development Program schedule will include working with maintenance and enhancement crews.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
· Bi-lingual Spanish - Accomplished verbal and written communication skills
· Strong communication skills – English verbal, written and reading comprehension.
· Ability to develop strong client and employee relationships.
· Hands on approach to crew and task management
· Strong time management and organizational skills
· Strong analytical skills, ability to meet critical deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
· Responsive to customer’s needs and requests – build customer rapport.
Preferred:
· GED, AS Degree (or equivalent) or 2 years of experience in landscape maintenance preferred.
· Certifications in Landscape Maintenance and Irrigation
· Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Responsive with positive attitude and initiative, team oriented, and strong role model
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to reach with hands and arms.
· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
· Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel and operate computer, phone, and other tools as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
