Project Manager – Excavation Job Details: - This is a full-time salary position, and is eligible for Medical/Dental/Vision, holiday, vacation pay, and 401k based on the company’s employee benefit policy - Monday to Friday and occasional weekends if needed About: Elk Heights Excavation in Maple Valley is looking for a motivated and engaged Construction Project Manager to join our team. We specialize in mass excavation for multi-use projects in the Seattle and surrounding area. We love what we do at Elk Heights, and it shows in our people and quality of work. Required experience: - At least 3 year’s experience in project Management for an excavation company dealing with Commercial / Multifamily Construction - A proven track record of honest and ethical business practices and an enthusiastic attitude - Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project or equivalent. Responsibilities: - Support your project teams with daily project coordination - Collaborate with a spectrum of project participants and team members including Upper Management, Foreman, Subcontractors, Estimators, Office Staff, Vendors and Clients - Multitask and manage multiple projects of varying size - Responsible for the direction and supervision of the Superintendent, Project Engineer or Project Administrator as required for project - In conjunction with the Superintendent, establish and maintain a 3-week look-ahead schedule for each project - Optimize the profitability of the company through ethical management practices, decision making, reliable, accurate and mature judgment - Completion of the project on time and within budget - Prepare cost estimates and timely Proposed Change Order (PCO’s) for additional work as requested by the client or for changed in conditions from the contract specifications for submittal and approval - Coordinate and attend all meetings, including weekly project meetings with the owner and all subcontractors as required - Monitor the project schedule to track and report any delays to the project immediately to upper management Preferred Qualifications: - Degree in Construction Management - At least 3 year’s experience in project management - Demonstrate a clear progression and development of responsibilities in previous position - Strong leadership skills - HCSS/Heavy Bid software experience preferred - InSite Elevation Pro, CAD and Agtek, or related, software experience is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Compensation Package: • Weekly pay Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday Experience: • Project management: 3 years (Required) Ability to Commute: • Maple Valley, WA 98038 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Maple Valley, WA 98038: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
