Job Description
We're a leadingFFE (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) commercial construction companyseeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of our projects, bridging the gap between design and installation. You'll leverage your expertise to not only manage but also actively contribute to the hands-on aspects of our builds.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing and Guiding installation crews, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
• Translate blueprints and designs into reality, overseeing the fabrication and installation of FFE components.
• Utilize SketchUp extensivelyto create detailed drawings and visualize project elements.
• Collaborate closely with our shop team, guiding items from initial concept and drawing through the fabrication process to final completion.
• Apply your in-depth understanding of commercial constructionto troubleshoot challenges and optimize project workflows.
• Manage project timelines, costs, and resourceseffectively.
• Communicate regularly with clients, architects, designers and general contractors, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction.
Desired Qualifications
• History of leading an installation crewin a commercial construction environment.
• Proven experience in the installation or implementation of commercial construction concepts, including the capacity to demonstrate installation techniques and procedures.
• Proficiency in SketchUp is required.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial constructionprocesses, materials, and safety standards.
• Bluebeam & CAD experience is a plus and very helpful.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
