Project Manager - Heavy Highway Construction

Leading Heavy Highway contractor seeks to invite a Project Manager to join their dynamic team! A qualified person for this position will have 7+ years of self performed experience in heavy civil site development and/or heavy highway construction. This position is office based with limited regional travel. Qualifications • 5-10 years experience with self-performing heavy civil firm(s). • BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering (or related field), or equivalent experience required • Proven experience in managing projects in the $5M- $40M range from beginning to end • Experience in managing self-perform forces in Heavy Highway construction Responsibilities • As the Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the complete execution of various projects from beginning to end. • You will manage a team of Project Superintendents, Project Engineers, and associated field management. • You will be responsible for managing subordinates and subcontractors. • The Project Manager position’s accountability includes, but is not limited to: Pre-construction, Project Set-up, Project Cost-Control, Scheduling, Complete Project Oversight, and Profit & Loss.
