Belden Universal is seeking a Project Manager to join our tight-knit advanced manufacturing team. You will have the opportunity to ‘wear many hats’ and face new and interesting challenges every day managing manufacturing and technology projects that touch every part of the company. Belden Universal is an AS9100 manufacturer of universal joints and drive shafts and a global leader in this specialized market. We serve the Aerospace, Defense, Medical Device, and Industrial Machinery markets, helping them solve their most challenging power transmission applications within a rigorous AS9100 quality framework.
The Project Manager will lead and perform all phases of project management activities including scope management, requirements definition and analysis, technical development, testing, validation, risk management, progress reporting, and budget and resource management. You will report directly to the company President and be responsible for driving key strategic projects to completion.

Project Manager Job Duties
• Execute the full project management life cycle from initiation to closeout for multiple projects simultaneously, including New Product Introduction, Continuous Improvement, Cybersecurity, and Technology and Software deployment including AI workflows and tools.
• Develop and manage project schedules including cross-team logic linked tasks.
• Generate Operations KPI reports, analyze results, and present your insights to your management team peers
• Coordinate project execution among all involved teams and collaborate with functional leadership to address project needs.
• Proactively identify and manage plans for project risks, issues and opportunities.
• Communicate project status regarding schedule, cost, deliverables, risks, issues and opportunities internally and externally.
About You:
• You have a BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing) or significant relevant experience in manufacturing or management consulting. Project management certification (such as PMP) or formal training preferred
• You have 5-10 years of experience working in an AS9100 or ISO9001 manufacturing environment with government contracts, including at least 2 years leading cross-functional project teams
• You are a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident authorized to work on US defense-industry related projects
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects underway at any time
• You are highly resourceful, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within cross functional teams to solve problems and complete projects
• You are a skilled communicator both in person and in writing
• You are an ace with Excel and love to go deep and analyze data to extract insights
• You are organized and know how to drive a project to completion
• You are comfortable learning new technology – we will teach you how to use our ERP (Syspro), QMS (Unipoint), and record management system (Dash)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
