Job Description
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in electrical contracting or construction to oversee and lead a variety of commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of project management experience in the electrical or construction field, with a strong understanding of jobsite operations, scheduling, budgeting, and team coordination. This role requires effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to keep projects on track from kickoff through closeout.
Responsibilities
· Lead and manage electrical and/or construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
· Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
· Collaborate with field supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all project goals are met.
· Track and report on project progress, costs, change orders, and deliverables.
· Utilize project management tools such as Procore, SharePoint, Trello, or similar systems.
· Conduct regular site visits to monitor job progress, safety compliance, and quality control.
· Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure alignment.
· Forecast manpower needs and assist in resource allocation.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience managing electrical or construction projects.
· Proficient with Trimble Accubid Classic software
· Strong knowledge of construction documentation, RFI/submittal workflows, and field coordination.
· Proficiency with project management platforms (Procore, SharePoint, Basecamp, Trello, etc.) and scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
· Familiarity with electrical systems, scopes, and construction practices.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
· Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost control experience.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
· Background in value engineering, lean construction, or Six Sigma is a plus.
· PMP certification or similar credentials a bonus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
