Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial plumbing and HVAC projects from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership and clear communication.. The Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Coordination
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors and subcontractors.
• Lead by setting expectations, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Project Execution
• Prepare and Review Submittals for compliance withplansand specifications
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure plumbing and HVAC installations meet all specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to track progress, monitor quality, and adjust plans as needed.
Financial Oversight
• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, change orders, and invoicing.
• Monitor expenses, implement cost-control measures, and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices.
Quality & Safety
• Promote a culture of safety and enforce OSHA standards on all job sites.
• Reinforce quality by ensuring installations are done right the first time
• Ensure adherence to quality control processes and proper documentation of permits, contracts, and as-built drawings.
Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, schedules, and project updates.
• Provide regular progress reports to management, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Complete and submit project closeout documents, including warranties and turnover packages
QualificationsEducation & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction, with at least 3 years focused on plumbing or mechanical systems (preferred)
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from planning through completion.
Skills & Knowledge
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Licenses & Certifications
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to project sites as needed (required).
• OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred).
Working Conditions
• Office-based with regular travel to construction sites.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Compensation & Benefits
• Annual Salary: $80,000–$100,000, based on experience and qualifications
