Project Manager

Role:Project Manager or Engineer – Roadway Design Salary: $110K-$150K + benefits Location: Remote anywhere in Florida Duration: Permanent/Direct Hire A well-established civil engineering firm is seeking skilledProject Managers and Engineersto support transportation infrastructure projects across Florida. These roles involve collaborating with a team of engineers on roadway widening, resurfacing, and Project Development & Environment (PD&E) studies. Projects are primarily for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and various local municipalities. Key Responsibilities: • Design and analyze horizontal and vertical roadway alignments • Develop plan set components including plan, profile, cross-sections, and detail sheets • Prepare construction specifications and technical documentation • Perform quantity takeoffs and develop cost estimates • Document design decisions and maintain project records • Work cross-functionally with other disciplines to resolve design challenges • Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and internal stakeholders Required Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in roadway design • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field • Active Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license • Demonstrated experience with FDOT and municipal roadway projects • Proficient in FDOT Connect/OpenRoads Designer (ORD) • Familiarity with FDOT Standard Plans, Drainage Manual, and Florida Design Manual FootBridge is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive environment where everyone is valued and respected.
