Job Description

The Project Manager position is responsible for the overall financial success of projects assigned to them by completing projects on-time, on-budget, safely, to the highest NCS quality standards and with exceptional customer service. This position participates in Human Resource related decisions relative to their project team to include hiring, terminations, and workforce development in collaboration with the Operations Manager and the Human Resources department. This position is tasked with executing policies and strategies that are implemented by the Operations Manager to improve productivity and efficiency levels and building an enjoyable Project Team culture. RolesandResponsibilities • Field Personnel Performance Management • Time Sheet/Expense Report Approval • Project Planning - WBS • Estimate Review • Project Execution - Material/Labor/Permitting/Completion • Change Orders • Submission of Close Out Documents • Client Communication/Sign-off • Field Kickoff/Project End Debrief Meeting • Project Scheduling and Reporting • Site Review and Walk Throughs • Project Profitability Goals • Personnel Skills Development/Training Coordination • Participate with Human Resources in Disciplinary Process and implementation of company policies • Maintain current industry knowledge and certifications • Drive on company business and assume responsibility of a company vehicle as needed and allowed • Represent NCS with professionalism and integrity • Perform all assigned duties Safely adhering to the highest Quality standards • Provide the highest level of customer service with continuous communication (verbal and written) • Perform all functions of the position and other duties that may be assigned (Essentialdutiesandresponsibilitiesmayincludethefollowingtasks,knowledge,skills,andothercharacteristics.ThislistoftasksisillustrativeONLYandisnotacomprehensivelistingofallfunctionsandtasksperformedbypositionsinthisclass.Itdoesnotimplythatallpositionswithintheclassperformallthedutieslisted,nordoesitnecessarilylistallpossibledutiesthatmaybeassigned.).KeyPerformanceIndicatorsResponsibilities Project Planning and Execution - WBS and Project Closing Field Personnel Management Customer Satisfaction and CommunicationAccountabilities/PerformanceMeasurements Project Completion 100% on time to schedule Project Budget to Actual <= 100% of Plan Project Kickoff/Debrief Conducted 100% Customer Complaints 0 Project Gross Margin >= Budget Estimate Employee Reviews 100% Completed by Due Date SkillRequirements • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) and/or 2 years of related Project Management experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Ten + years of related industry experience is preferred • Possession of recognized industry related certification is preferred • PMP Certification is Preferred • Current, valid driver’s license • Ability to travel • Authorized to work in the United • Excellent written and verbal communication • Demonstrated problem solving • Submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screenPhysicalDemandsandWorkingConditions The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job.
