UNIVERSAL Technologies is hiring a PMP Certified Senior Project Manager with experience working in enterprise project management office (EPMO) with at least 6 years of experience managing medium to large scale software development projects comprised of sub projects and multiple work streams for a hybrid position in Brooklyn, NY. Must be able to work at least two days per week onsite Monday – Wednesday..
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
· Minimum of 6 years of experience managing and overseeing medium to large scale projects comprised of sub projects and/or multiple works streams.
· Experience working with System Integration vendors in managing, coordinating and delegating project assignments with project stakeholders including employees and consultant project staff numbering a minimum of 10 personnel.
· Must have experience in organizational change management implementing system and technology changes to staff members
· PMP Project Management experience is mandatory
· Experience as a Project Manager acting as the focal point of contact regarding overall project status, monitoring and control. Including project change, scope, schedule, costs, quality, communications, risks, procurements and stakeholder management.
· Comprehensive understanding and experience in Project Risk Management and Cost (Budget) Management.
· Experience presenting project status to upper management.
· Experience in end user training
· Excellent interpersonal skills including team leadership and management, negotiation, collaboration, problem resolution and customer service.
· Strong skills in Microsoft 365 software toolset, specifically Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint.
· Project Oversight on Deliverables / Tasks / Process Enforcement.
· Required to work onsite at NYCERS Brooklyn Office
· Experience working in Planview Project Portfolio Project Management Software preferred
Responsibilities:
· As Project Manager, acts as the focal point of contact regarding overall project status, monitoring and control. Including project change, scope, schedule, costs, quality, communications, risks, procurements and stakeholder management.
· Manage cross functional teams, project budgets, project risks, and project reporting
· Prepare and adopt organizational change management plans/strategies
· Participate in end-user system training
· Present project status reports to upper management.
· Provide team leadership and management, negotiation, collaboration, problem resolution and customer service.
· Use strong skills Microsoft 365 software toolset, specifically Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint.
· Project Oversight on Deliverables / Tasks / Process Enforcement.
