Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager with a strong background in underground utilities, particularly water and sewer systems. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing infrastructure projects involving pipe bursting, open cut installations, and other utility installation methods. This role will be responsible for overseeing all phases of utility projects—from pre-construction planning through final delivery—ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met. Responsibilities • Pipe bursting operations • Installation of main line water and sewer systems • Service connections using open cut methods • Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources • Work closely with clients, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and field crews • Monitor job progress and adjust work plans to meet milestones and deadlines • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, safety procedures, and environmental standards • Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents • Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment • Maintain detailed project documentation and reports • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement on all job sites Skills • 2+ years of project management experience in underground utilities (water and sewer) • Strong knowledge of pipe bursting, trenchless technologies, and open cut installation methods • Familiarity with relevant local, state, and federal construction standards and regulations • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore, or equivalent) • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to project sites as needed Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $85,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Compensation Package: • Bonus opportunities • Weekly pay Schedule: • Monday to Friday Ability to Commute: • San Antonio, TX 78223 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • San Antonio, TX 78223: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
