Primoris Services Corporation is seeking skilled Project Managers to oversee and manage construction projects. This role involves coordinating field operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Able to manage multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities, able to effectively direct the workflow and manage crews, able to read prints.
• Able to prioritize and organize effectively
• Coordinate and work with utility companies, developers, and other clients for all construction related work.
• Perform site inspections for quality control and safety.
• Able to work independently, able to supervise and motivate others, able to work in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Ensure that all financials are tracked, recorded, and reported accurately.
• Monitor crew performance; ensure adherence to terms and conditions of agreements and ensure all personnel and contractors are adhering to local and state construction requirements and codes.
• Update, track, and report on schedules, costs, and percentage of completion among other areas.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in project management and/or construction leadership. Utility, Energy, Renewables industry preferred.
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance or other related major preferred, but not required.
• Detailed knowledge of project management fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of hardware/software for construction, focusing on MS Project and/or Primavera 6.
• Demonstrated skills in both written and oral communications; ability to compose basic as well as complex technical documents, presentations, formal letters etc.
• High energy action oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous environment.
• Proven success in developing and maintaining internal and external relationships while effectively navigating organizational barriers.
• Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.
• Demonstrated negotiating and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of project accounting practices and financial systems.
• General understanding of Fixed Price, Time & Materials, Cost Plus and Unit contract pricing mechanisms.
• PMP certification a plus.
